Misery
May be some people are meant to be restless, unsatisfied, unhappy souls. They are created that way and somehow gravitate towards people who will make them feel worse. These people can not love themselves and wish to be loved by someone else. But their nature won't let them be loved either. They don't think they're worth it. They don't think they're worth anything. All they want and all they can imagine for themselves is a life of misery. Nothing or no one can change that since they themselves won't want it.
