Fuzz/pill remover

Image
I saw online that there is a small machine that can shave off the fuzz balls forming on clothes. Because we're in Sweden, I can't get it from amazon, plus I didn't want to spend that much on such a thing. So I searched ebay and found one for 16kr. I tried and it works fine.

Libero toddler bag

Libero offered in stores that you get a small ryggsäck when you send receipts for one packet diapers and two babyvårdsprodukter. I wanted it for free but libero products are expensive, so when willy:s sent me a gift card for 50 kr, I bought libero's hand and face wipes and baby oil. You had to stamp the small envelope they provided, and send it. Here's what I received after almost 2 weeks.

Libero's baby book

So when you buy libero nappies, you can log in to their website and register the code inside the packet to get 100 points. These points can be used to buy stuff from their shop (poängshoppen). Pampers has something similar but the stuff they let you buy is boring and just a few things to choose from. With 500 points, I ordered their baby book called Mitt första år, and received it by post within a month. It's calendar format with stickers on last page that can be used in the calendar. It has place for things that I wouldn't have thought of noting otherwise, like the dates for all new teeth and the day he starts holding the rattle. I'm loving it. Plus it's free ;)

Couple bucket list for last month of pregnancy

Image
I thought I'll not be one of those women who say I'm sick of being pregnant and want it to be over, but here I am wishing to get rid of this thing that's limiting my physical capabilities in so many ways. Woof! Anyway, we're generally happy with our extremely boring and mostly sedentary lifestyle, but now that I'm lazier and crankier than ever, and exercise together or intimacy together isn't possible any longer, and I'm sick of TV and the couch, I need to compile a bucket list for us as a couple. I'm going through a lot of so-called "date" ideas and picking the ones that will suit my physical capacity during this last month. I'll see by the end which ones we actually did. Hike in the forest Walk on the beach Picnic in the park Park swings Second hand store Bake/cook together. Decorate cupcakes. Movie night at home with luxury snacks Movie in bed Movie at theater Board game Know each other Dinner out Fancy dinner at home (...

Limitations and adjustments

Today when I didn't fit into some more clothes from second trimester, I thought to myself that this seems uncomfortable and I probably have gained weight at more places than I should have. I was disappointed but I will get over it. The now-tight clothes are helping me accept my new dimensions and adjust accordingly. They remind me that things are different now. It made me think that I have been pretty good at accepting the other limitations, like my walking distance has slowly decreased over the past months, I can't sit up straight for a long time, I can't stay hungry or thirsty even for a few hours, midnight snacks are okay even if my non-prego self is scolding me, my ability to hold my bladder is not more than a few seconds, I can not clean the whole apartment in one day, in fact I can't even do two tasks (like cleaning the bathroom and cooking dinner) in the same day. But the thing is, I don't forgive myself when it comes to study. I'm still trying to do a...

Pregnancy and Pakistan

It's the best feeling in the world to feel a little human being squirming and kicking inside your tummy. It is definitely the closest two humans can get and thus the mother-child bond needs no further explanation. I am in absolute awe. In fact I even feel betrayed, about no one ever telling me in the past 26 years of my life that there is something in this world as wonderful as being pregnant and expecting your offspring. Why don't people talk about it in Pakistan? Or is it just that I was not fortunate enough to have this kind of company? Why is it a bad thing to talk about pregnancy, and the only acceptable part seems to be the accounts of morning sickness, back pain, horrible experiences of childbirth, the woes of cesarean section, the exponential weight gain and tummy pouches you get with each additional child you make, and the worst your life is the more kids you have. All I understand about these conversations between new moms is each one's desire to prove that her...
